When you visit the site

Our server records your IP address, browser type and the page requested. Every website does this, and it is needed to deliver the page and to stop abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.

Visitor statistics

We count visitors with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not recognise you as a person or across visits — we see counts, not people. Basis: legitimate interest.

When you book an appointment

Booking does not happen on this site. The booking buttons take you to Fresha, our booking system, and the details you enter there — name, email, phone number and your appointment — we process in order to cut your hair and confirm your booking. Basis: performance of a contract. What happens inside Fresha is also covered by their own privacy policy.

When you call or email us

We process what you tell us, in order to answer you. Basis: legitimate interest. We keep those messages no longer than we need to.

Advertising measurement

If you agree to it, we load the Meta pixel. It measures which adverts led to a visit and to a click on a booking link. Without your consent we do not load it. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time through our cookie policy.

We do not sell your data and do not pass it on for purposes not listed here. These parties see something of your data because they run part of the site or the service:

Some of these parties sit outside the European Economic Area, chiefly in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Server logs: a few weeks. Appointment data: for as long as you are a client, and after that for as long as tax law requires us to keep our records — seven years for anything that appears on an invoice. Cookies: the periods are in the cookie policy. What we no longer need, we delete.

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data, to correct or erase it, to restrict processing, to have it transferred, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent you have given, you may withdraw again at any time — as easily as you gave it.

Email info@porembarbershop.nl and we will answer within a month. We may ask you to identify yourself, so that we do not hand someone else's data to you.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens: autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

We take no automated decisions about you and do no profiling. You are never obliged to give us data — we simply cannot hold an appointment for you without a name and a phone number. We deliberately process no special categories of personal data.

If what we process or who we share it with changes, we update this statement and change the date at the top.
